Google 1998 senesinde kurulmuştu. Sonrasında geçen 23 yılda dünyada bilgi erişim konusunda büyük gelişmeler yaşandı.

Bilgi erişim için dijital kütüphaneler alanında da önemli ilerlemeler olmaktadır.

20 yıl sonra bu bakımdan bambaşka bir tablo ortaya çıkacaktır.

Dijital kütüphaneler için şimdiden yapmamız gerekenlerden birisi de Türkçe "Dijital Kütüphaneler Sözlüğü" hazırlamak olsa gerek...
